Join TU alumni from across the country for a relaxing float trip down the picturesque Guadalupe River on Saturday, August 18, 2012. Friends and family members are welcome to attend.

At the conclusion of the trip, there will be a cookout/pool party at a house located in New Braunfels, TX, near Gruene Hall, on the river. 

Alumni can plan to only attend the Float Trip and Cookout/Pool Party on Saturday, August 18th, or can reserve a spot in the house for the full weekend of Friday Afternoon (August 17th) through Sunday Morning (August 19th) for only $173 (includes a spot in a bed - queen beds will be shared, you can choose a bedmate in advance).  

Each attendee will pay for their own float on arrival at the float shop (generally cash only).  Folks will be responsible for their own food and beverages except for that served at the Pool Party/Cook-off (burgers, dogs, sides & fixings, non-alcoholic beverages).  Please note – you cannot stay at the house if you have not previously confirmed and purchased a spot. 

If you’d like to attend the float trip, please email Lauren Williams. If you’d like to stay at the house for the weekend, please email Stephen Shepherd and Lauren Williams. Once we have confirmed there is an available spot for you, you will need to mail a check immediately (details of where to send will follow in confirmation, sorry we can’t hold spots without payment). 

More details will be sent to those who have signed up as we get closer to the date of the float.  Members of ALL Alumni chapters and clubs are invited and encouraged to attend.
