If you are interested in becoming a TU Uncorked volunteer, please contact Amy Dodson at amy-dodson@utulsa.edu or 918-631-3724. Learn more about each of the sub-committees below.

Auction – The Auction Committee solicits potential auction donors, conducts follow up calls, gathers descriptions of items and arranges for pick-up of items. They will determine pricing for auction packages and display them at the event.

Decorations – This committee will work in tandem with the Logistics committee to survey the site and design the decorating scheme, the party favors and associated budget. Decorations will be responsible for working with Logistics to make sure that space needs and audio needs are met. This committee does not meet regularly, but is strongly encouraged to volunteer the day of the event to set-up and tear down.

Restaurants – This committee selects, solicits and confirms each participating restaurant and/or caterer. This committee will work closely with Logistics on space requirements, electrical requirements, or other requirements for participating restaurants.

Logistics – This committee is the communication link, prior to the event, between site personnel and the full committee. They are responsible for needs assessment, coordination of security, staffing, parking/valet, layout, equipment, and any other related items that arise. This committee does not meet regularly, but is strongly encouraged to volunteer the day of the event to set-up and tear down.

Wine – This committee selects, solicits and confirms each participating winery and their offerings. Additionally, on behalf of the Auction committee, this committee will ask for donations of wine for an auction package. This committee will work closely with Logistics on space requirements, stemware rental needs, or other requirements for participating wineries.

Wine Pull – This committee solicits donations of bottles of wine for the wine pull. Donated bottles will be sold to guests at the event for $25 or 5 bottles for $100. Additionally, on behalf of the Auction committee, this committee can ask for donations for auction packages. Includes volunteering the day of the event to transport wine and set-up the display.
