Auction – The Auction Committee solicits potential auction donors, conducts follow up calls, gathers descriptions of items and arranges for pick-up of items. The committee will also suggest pricing for auction package. All committee members should be knowledgeable about the online bidding software and support the auction logistics the night of the event.

Decorations – This committee will work in tandem with the Logistics committee to set-up the day of the event. This committee does not meet regularly, but is expected to volunteer the day of the event to set-up and tear down.

Restaurants – This committee identifies, solicits and confirms each participating restaurant and/or caterer. They are responsible for obtaining signed donation forms from each donor. This committee will work closely with TU Alumni Staff on space, rental and electrical requirements for each participating restaurant. Committee members will greet restaurants as they arrive at the event and will maintain communication with them throughout the event. Committee members will write and sign thank you notes to the restaurant sponsors after the event.

Logistics –This committee will work in tandem with the Decorations committee to set-up the day of the event. This committee does not meet regularly, but is expected to volunteer the day of the event to set-up and tear down. The Logistics committee chair will work closely with the Alumni staff liaison to review event layout, rental needs and manage volunteers during day-of set-up.

Wine – This committee identifies, solicits and confirms each participating beverage sponsor and their offerings, including wine, beer and other select drinks to be served at the event. They are responsible for obtaining signed donation forms from each donor. Committee members will greet beverage sponsors as they arrive at the event and will maintain communication with them throughout the event. Committee members will write and sign thank you notes to the restaurant sponsors after the event.

Wine Pull – This committee solicits donations of bottles of wine for the wine pull. They are responsible for obtaining signed donation forms from each donor. Additionally, on behalf of the Auction committee, this committee can ask for donations for auction packages. Includes volunteering the day of the event to transport wine and set-up the display. This committee will also coordinate delivery of the donated wine to the Office of Alumni Relations.
