The University of Tulsa will officially become a “True Blue Nation" during Homecoming 2012, to be held October 18 through 21. 
 
The Alumni Association will kick off Homecoming weekend with the Distinguished Alumni Celebration on Thursday evening at the Lorton Performance Center.

On Friday evening, alumni, students and friends will gather at the annual Pep Rally and Bonfire on Dietler Commons (formerly known as "The U"). The band will play, the cheerleaders will pump up the crowd and representatives from the student body, alumni, faculty, and administration will light the bonfire. After the Pep Rally, TU friends will gather at a special TU on Tap at Tulsa Oktoberfest.

Various reunion groups will come back to campus to celebrate this year including the Class of 1962, the Class of 1992, Baseball teams, Men's Golf teams, Women's Golf teams, Lamda Chi Alpha, Sigma Nu and the Spirit Squad. Alumni who graduated 50 years ago will be inducted into the Gold Medallion Society on Saturday. Beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, you can enjoy drinks, food and fun at the alumni tent on Chapman Commons.  After the party, you can watch TU play the Rice Owls at 2:30 p.m.
