We need your support! A local alumnus, Tony Meehan (BCS '03, MS '05), underwent a below-knee amputation in June after struggling with post-traumatic osteoarthritis. On Sunday, September 22, Tony and the Washington, D.C. Chapter of the TU Alumni Association will be running in the Super H 5K Run, Walk & Wheel. For more on Tony's story, click HERE.

Registration is only $45 and all proceeds from the 2013 Super H 5K Run, Walk & Wheel will benefit the adaptive sports programs at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital (MedStar NRH). Rated by U.S. News & World Report as one of the top medical rehabilitation hospitals in America, MedStar NRH helps amputees return to active lives after a disabling injury or illness. Many are children, as young as six years old, learning to adjust to new lives.
