TU Alumni Association Charters New Chapters in Phoenix and Los Angeles

The TU Alumni Association is excited to announce the chartering of two new chapters, in Phoenix and Los Angeles. They join the Alumni Association’s 10 other chapters across the country.

The Phoenix Chapter chartering reception will be held Thursday, April 25 at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Scottsdale and the Los Angeles Chapter’s chartering reception will be held on Saturday, April 27 at Seasons 52. Kevan Buck, TU executive vice president, and Laurie Brumbaugh (BS '78), TU Alumni Association National Board president, will be in attendance at both events and will share remarks to welcome and charter the chapters. Both events will include hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar and attire is business casual.

All TU alumni living in the Phoenix and Los Angeles areas are invited to attend the chartering receptions. All alumni in attendance will be invited to sign the official charter for their respective chapters.

TU Alumni Chapters are the perfect way to re-connect with TU from wherever you call home. Each Chapter has its own character, but they all connect alumni to The University of Tulsa. Chapters host university speakers, sponsor athletic-related events for TU fans, provide business and professional networking for alumni, cultivate relationships, serve as student recruiters, and offer social and service events. Since the TU Alumni Association began its Chapters program in 2002, alumni and friends across the country have joined together in their own communities in order to stay connected to TU-and each other.
