Dallas Chapter

Dear TU Dallas Alumni,

My name is Harrison Bedford, and I am the new President of the TU Dallas Alumni Chapter. I am very excited about this opportunity, and look forward to serving you. I was raised just outside of Tulsa, in a town called Pryor, where I graduated in 2006. I graduated from The University of Tulsa in 2010 with a B.S.B.A. in Management Information Systems. In 2011, my job with Blue Cross Blue Shield moved me to Dallas, where I work in their Infrastructure division.

Dallas is a great place to live. After marrying a TU alumna this past summer, we’ve finally been able to start getting some real roots planted here. While I have been in Dallas a short time, and involved in the alumni chapter an even shorter time, I am looking forward to meeting more of my fellow alumni that have decided to call Dallas home, or returned here after graduating from TU.

I would like to thank Layne Fisher, the immediate Past President of this chapter, as he has done a great job growing the chapter’s activities, and for continuing to be a presence in the chapter and its activities. I have some big shoes to fill, but I look forward to helping take this chapter forward.

If you would like to get involved in the Dallas Chapter, or have ideas on events or ways we can better serve the TU Alumni in the Dallas area, feel free to join our Facebook group or email me at hwbedford@gmail.com.

We make a habit of keeping alumni in the Dallas area informed of all the latest TU happenings. If you want to receive communications about chapter events, please make sure your contact information is updated in the TUAlumni.com online directory.

Once again, thank you for visiting our chapter page and we hope to see you at our next event.

Sincerely,

Harrison Bedford '10
Dallas Chapter President
