My name is April Johnson and I am excited to be your Northwest Arkansas Club Representative. I graduated from TU in 2003. While at TU, I ran track and earned a marketing degree. I lived in Tulsa for a few years after my graduation, but eventually decided
to return to my home town, Fayetteville. Since then, I've followed TU from afar, returning for Homecoming a couple of times.
I recently visited some friends from TU in Washington D.C. who are both very involved with their local TU alumni chapter. While in D.C., I ended up seeing several TU friends that I wasn't expecting to see and I saw how fun their chapter is. I want to build TU alumni excitement in Northwest Arkansas, so I will not be the lonely girl in blue in a sea of red when cheering on the Golden Hurricane.
I am very excited about the prospect of meeting fellow TU alumni and hosting some fun alumni events each year. If you have ideas on how we might better serve our TU alumni in Northwest Arkansas, please email me at
