Tulsa Chapter

After graduating from The University of Tulsa more than a decade ago, it didn’t take me long to realize the impact TU had made on both my personal and professional development. I could have never imagined the level of appreciation and loyalty I now have for my alma mater and the people and experiences that have helped me become the person I am today.

That’s why I decided to become involved with Alumni Association five years ago, both as a way to attempt to give back to an organization that gave me so much, and work to pay it forward to current and future students. And now I am thrilled to have the great privilege and honor to serve you as President of the Tulsa Chapter of the Alumni Association.

As host chapter for the Alumni Association, we have the opportunity to welcome you home to TU. Whether you’re at every home football game or haven’t been able to return to campus for years, there is something for everyone and no better time than now to check out the excitement happening at TU.

The men and women of the Tulsa Chapter serve alumni and future alumni in the Tulsa area. From performances at the new Lorton Performance Center to annual Homecoming events for the whole family to Tavern on the Green tailgates before home football games and more, the Tulsa Alumni board strives to create enjoyable events for all levels of interest.

We also dedicate efforts to giving back to the community we serve. Our signature event, TU Uncorked wine festival, is held each summer and has raised more than half a million scholarship dollars for Tulsa-area students wishing to attend TU.

There are so many great things happening at TU and with our alumni, so I hope you’ll consider checking out our Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts to share in the excitement. Also, if you haven’t updated your contact information, I encourage you to take a moment to do so to stay updated on events and university accomplishments, along with ways you can connect with the Tulsa Alumni Chapter. Our events wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our fantastic volunteers, so if you’ve ever thought about getting involved, we’d love for you to join us! You’ll find volunteer opportunities starting at just an hour or two of your time and connect with fellow alumni across the Tulsa-area.

As your president of the Tulsa Chapter for the next two years, I would love to hear from you. If you have suggestions about how improve your alumni experience or just want to ask a question, feel free to drop me an email any time. Like I said, great things are happening at TU. I hope you’ll join me in making them even better together.

Go TU!
