Athletics Committee (Chair – Tracy Anquoe ’89, ’93) – Produces the annual Hoops n’ Chili event in conjunction with a women’s home basketball game, the Alumni Softball Game in the spring, as well as promoting TU athletics to alumni through tailgates or other activities. Meetings are generally held the first Monday evening of the month.

Heritage Committee (Chair – Kerry Freeman ’57, ’58) – Collects, catalogs, and preserves TU memorabilia. Meetings are generally held the second Tuesday of every other month at 11:30 a.m.

Homecoming Committee (2010 Chair – Cathy Laird ’80) – Produces TU’s annual Homecoming festivities, the Alumni Association’s biggest event of the year. Meetings are generally held on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m., with subcommittee meetings as needed.

Marketing & Promotions Committee (Chair – David Williams ’99) – Seeks methods of marketing TU and the Alumni Association to alumni and the community. Meetings are generally held once per month at lunch.

TU Blue Volunteer Crew (Chair – Kristen Taylor ’04) – Recruits volunteers for committees and events. Meetings are generally the first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

TU Uncorked 2010 Committee (Chairs – Rita ’04 and Taylor ’02, ’06 Burke) – The sixth annual TU Uncorked Wine Festival is planned for June 4, 2010. This committee works with wineries, restaurants, and donors to host an annual event supporting the Alumni Association Scholarship fund. Meetings are generally held once per month in the evenings, with subcommittee meetings as needed.

Young Alumni Committee (Chair – Katie Sailers Merillat ’04, ’09) – Seeks methods for engaging younger alumni in alumni programs and the University. The committee is engaged in several projects, including networking happy hours and “Lunch with a Purpose” quarterly networking events. Meetings are generally held once per month in the evenings.
