Cappella Chamber Singers To Perform in New York’s Carnegie Hall

The Cappella Chamber Singers from The University of Tulsa School of Music will be performing Friday, March 19, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. in New York’s Carnegie Hall.
They will be joined with choirs from around the country; most notably, the choirs of Oklahoma State University. The concert will be under the baton of Mark Lawlor and the work performed will be Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de Dominica. Dr. Kim Childs, conductor of the Cappella Chamber Singers, will be the tenor soloist for this work and its companion work, Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore.
