Admissions Efforts Do you know a qualified student who would make a great match for TU? The TU Alumni Association and the Office of Admission would like to invite you, our outstanding alumni, to help recruit the next class of the Golden Hurricane. Campaign/Fundraising Efforts As TU begins to embark on a large fundraising campaign, we need many loyal, always true volunteers to help us reach our goals. We will need ambassadors to share on social media and in their networks for the Campaign, TU Giving Day and other fundraising efforts.
Commencement Help welcome the newest class of graduates as they enter the TU Alumni Association. Volunteers are needed for May 2025 Commencement. Day of Service TU Day of Service is a chance for alumni and students nationwide to serve their communities and support TU’s mission of making meaningful contributions. The TU Alumni Association partners with local organizations for volunteer events throughout April. Homecoming Produces TU’s annual Homecoming festivities, including the Bonfire & Pep Rally, game day festivities, hospitality and reunions. Move-In Day Greet new TU students as they move into campus housing! Volunteers will assist with carrying luggage, directing students and families around campus, and offering general support to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all incoming students. Student Success Volunteering with Student Success helps to promote a student-centered culture through programming focused around student success, retention, mentoring, career development, volunteerism, and enhanced student experience. Tent Parties Volunteering at TU tent parties on football game day involves assisting with event set up, distributing giveaways, and providing support to ensure a fun & organized atmosphere! Volunteers help create a welcoming environment for guests to enhance the overall game-day experience! TU 'Cane Crawl Plans our biennially pub crawl to support the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. Meetings are generally held once per month in the evenings, with subcommittee meetings as needed.
