Homecoming Pep Rally Friday, October 25 7:30 p.m. Dietler Commons, formerly known as "The U"
On Friday, October 25, The University of Tulsa will celebrate Homecoming with a Pep Rally in advance of Saturday's football game. This annual party is open to all and features the Sound of the Golden Hurricane marching band and spirit squad as well as music from DJ Chuck G, the Manta Rays, and the Get Down Band.
Following a persistent drought in the region, Tulsa County Commissioners approved a resolution to declare a burn ban within Tulsa County earlier this week, which has forced university administration to cancel the bon fire and fireworks portions of this annual tradition. As such, President Carson has been working with event organizers to add new elements for 2024 that attendees will not want to miss!
The UTulsa Homecoming Pep Rally and "TU On Tap" is free and open to the public, Friday, October 25 from 6:00 to 11 p.m. on Dietler Commons (near S. Delaware Ave. and E. Sixth St.). Alumni, students, and fans can enjoy cashless food trucks and bars throughout the evening. For more information, click here.
Refreshments are available for alumni, family, friends, and students at the Alumni Association tents on Dietler Commons while they last.
Immediately following the Pep Rally, join us on the west side of Dietler Commons for the TU on Tap party! All alumni, family, students, and friends are encouraged to attend this FREE event.
