TU Day of Service is an opportunity for alumni and students nationwide to serve their communities and enact TU’s mission “to make meaningful contributions to our campus, our community, and our world.” The University of Tulsa Alumni Association Chapters and Clubs across the country are partnering with philanthropic organizations in their communities for volunteer events throughout the month of April. Don’t have a chapter or club near you? You can get into the Golden Hurricane spirit of service today by planning a TU Day of Service event for TU alumni in your local chapter or club. Your event should be service oriented (i.e. food drive, volunteering at a local charity) but feel free to celebrate your true blue spirit with a social event before, during or after giving back to your community. The TU Day of Service may be as simple as a random act of kindness, a donation to TU or another worthy organization, or even taking the time to volunteer with a friend or two. Please share your events on social media, no matter how big or small, using #TUDayOfService and #TUAlumni. Don't forget to Wear Blue! For questions regarding planning or attending a TU Day of Service event, please contact the Office of Alumni Engagement at tualumni@utulsa.edu or at 918-631-2555.
