2024 Homecoming King and Queen Application

Applications must be completed by Tuesday, September 10, 2024 by 4:00 p.m. CST

TU's Homecoming King and Queen awards recognize TU students who demonstrate campus involvement, leadership, academics, school spirit and community involvement.

All Homecoming King and Homecoming Queen candidates must be nominated by a TU Student Association chartered organization or TU intercollegiate athletic team. Any TU organization or team may nominate ONE candidate for Homecoming King and ONE candidate for Homecoming Queen. Organizations should nominate an alternate in the case that a nominee has already accepted a nomination from another organization. Nominees do not need to be a member of the nominating organization or team. Nominees may only accept a nomination from ONE organization.

Once an organization has nominated a King and/or Queen candidate, that organization will notify the nominee(s) who will then be required to complete the following application by Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. CST.  Only applications submitted via the application at TUAlumni.com will be reviewed.

A preliminary review of your application will conducted by a panel of alumni judges. They will be evaluating your campus organization involvement, leadership, academics, school spirit and community involvement. From this review, a total of 20 King finalists and 20 Queen finalists will advance to the interview round. Finalists will be selected based on their application responses and resume. Those selected for interviews will be notified about scheduling interviews by Tuesday, September 24, 2024 and interviews will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

Once the Homecoming Court has been announced, the student body will determine the Homecoming King and Queen through an election conducted by the Student Association. The Homecoming Court will be introduced at the Homecoming Bonfire and Pep Rally Friday, October 25, 2024 and during halftime at the TU vs. UTSA football game on Saturday, October 26, 2024.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a currently enrolled student at The University of Tulsa during the fall semester of 2024.
  • Must be nominated by a TU Student Association chartered organization or TU intercollegiate athletic team.

Applications must be submitted online by Tuesday, September 10, 2024 by 4:00 p.m. CST. No late entries will be accepted.
