Dr. Brian Lutz, Ph.D.
Duke University, Nicholas School of the Environment

Dr. Lutz's areas of research include environmental impacts of energy extraction practices, biogeochemistry of natural and human-impacted ecosystems, and interactions of major element cycles.

He received his doctorate in biogeochemistry from Duke University in 2011, conducted graduate coursework at Virginia Tech and earned his bachelor's degree in biology from The College of Wooster in 2005.
